What is arsenic metal
Arsenic, commonly known as arsenic, has the symbol As and is a non-metallic element located in the 4th period of the periodic table of the chemical elements, group VA, atomic number 33, and exists in the form of three isotopes: gray arsenic, black arsenic and yellow arsenic. Arsenic is widely found in nature, and hundreds of arsenic minerals have been discovered. Arsenic and its compounds are used in pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, and many kinds of alloys. Its compound arsenic trioxide, known as arsenic, is a very toxic substance.
